Fall Semester at St. George Piano Academy!
Dear Piano Families,
We hope you’ve all had a wonderful, rejuvenating summer! We are so excited to welcome new faces to the studio for our Fall Semester. There is nothing quite like the energy of starting a new season of piano lessons, and we can’t wait to see everyone during our first week back!
Lessons officially begin on Tuesday, August 11.
As we prepare to kick off the semester at St. George Piano Academy, here are a few key details to keep in mind to help everything run smoothly:
📍 Piano Studio Location & Arrival
1136 W 560 N St. George, UT
Our piano studio is located in the casita right behind the main house, a cozy space we lovingly call “Hagrid’s Hut!”
- Our Furry Greeting Committee: We have two very friendly dogs who love spending time in the backyard. If you or your child are shy around dogs, please don’t hesitate to ring the camera doorbell at the gate, and we will gladly put the dogs inside before you come through.
- Timing & Promptness: To make sure every student gets their full piano lesson time and that transitions run seamlessly, please ensure students are dropped off and picked up promptly at their scheduled times.
📚 Materials & Sheet Music
- Beginner Students: We will be texting you directly with the specific link/title of the lesson books you’ll need to order prior to your child’s first lesson.
- Students With Previous Experience: Please bring the piano books you are currently working out of, or the most recent piano books you were using before the break.
💳 Tuition & Payment Options
Tuition covers the full fall semester and can be paid in monthly installments or in full via cash, check, or Venmo *:
- Monthly Tuition: $125, due at the first lesson of each month.
- Semester Tuition: $625 for the entire semester, due at the very first lesson (August 11 week).
Life gets busy! If monthly tuition hasn’t been received by your student’s first lesson of the month, I’ll send a friendly courtesy invoice via Venmo just as a gentle reminder.
*UFA Scholarship Recipients – Please log into your Odyssey account prior to the first lesson to submit your payment.
🎹 Interactive Learning with Piano Maestro
To make practice engaging and fun, we use an interactive app in our studio called Piano Maestro! To get your child set up with their individual student profile, we’ll need to use a parent email address.
Using your email allows us to:
- Track Progress: You’ll receive updates on what your child is working on and how they’re progressing.
- Home Practice Access: If you’d like to use Piano Maestro at home, your child can log in and continue practicing the same songs and exercises we work on during lessons.
Please make sure we have your preferred email on file so we can send over your child’s account invite!
